Escapement

Approach

Build once. Run every month.

Most AI projects end at the handover. The system works for a month, then the data shifts, a tool changes, and nobody owns the fix. We split the work into three parts so that someone always does.

01Diagnostic

Two weeks · fixed fee

We interview the people who do the work, read the numbers, and test where AI changes the result.

  • –A ranked map of opportunities, with the expected effect of each
  • –A list of what we would not automate, and why
  • –A 90-day plan with numbers attached

Credited to the Build if you go ahead within 30 days.

02Build

Three to six weeks · fixed scope

We install the systems, connect your data, and set up the scoreboard you will read every month.

  • –Working systems in your accounts
  • –A scoreboard agreed before we build
  • –Documentation your team can read

Changes to scope are priced separately, in writing.

03Run

Monthly · six-month minimum

We operate the systems, improve them, and report against the scoreboard. When something fails, the report says what failed.

  • –A written report every month
  • –Fixes and improvements as the business changes
  • –Direct access to both founders

Six months is how long it takes for the numbers to mean something.

What we won’t automate

Restraint is part of the job. We keep a person in the loop wherever a wrong answer costs a client relationship: final outbound messages, hiring decisions, anything that commits money. We will tell you when a process is better left manual, and we will not automate a process your team is still arguing about.

For your finance or operations lead

If someone else signs off, this is the short version to forward.

Cost
Fixed Diagnostic, fixed Build, then a monthly retainer below the cost of one senior hire.
Risk
Two weeks and one fixed fee before any larger commitment. Scope is fixed in writing.
Measurement
A scoreboard agreed before the Build, reported monthly in writing.
Ownership
Systems live in your accounts. You keep everything if you stop.

Questions owners ask

What does it cost?+

The Diagnostic is a fixed fee, credited to the Build if you go ahead within 30 days. The Build is a fixed setup fee agreed before we start. The Run retainer is monthly and costs less than one senior hire. We share exact figures on the first call, once we know which systems you need.

Who owns what you build?+

You do. Systems run in your accounts, under your logins. Prompts, code, workflows and documentation are yours. If you stop, we hand over a written runbook so your team or another partner can carry on.

What happens to our data?+

We work inside your tools with access you grant and can revoke at any time. We sign your NDA. We do not use your data to train models, and we tell you which AI providers each system calls.

You are based in India. How does that work?+

We hold calls in US, UK, Gulf and APAC hours, and write everything down so nothing depends on a meeting. Contracts and invoices are in USD.

What about AI usage costs?+

Model and tool usage is included up to an agreed monthly cap. Above it, we pass usage through at cost, and you see it in the monthly report.

How many clients do you take?+

A small number at a time, because the two founders do the work. We would rather tell you we are full than hand you to someone junior.

How fast can we start?+

Usually within two weeks of the first call. The Diagnostic takes two weeks; the Build takes three to six.

Who this is for

A discovery call is useful when all four are true:

  1. 01$5M+ in revenue, or $1M+ in funding with a clear growth target
  2. 02A founder or C-level leader joins the call
  3. 03There is a named bottleneck in pipeline, visibility, hiring or operations
  4. 04You can start within 30 days
